Dávid became the trustee behind HOTS (Hungarian Oncoming Tunes), the Hungarian music export office since 2016 through an open application of the Hungarian Cultural Fund (NKA), the amplifier behind the dedicated music-funding programme, Hangfoglaló (fka Cseh Tamás Program).
In the last two years, since the initiative exists, HOTS was able to set a basic framework for a a pro-active strategy that helps the local stakeholders of the music industry to meet specific knowledge about their possible target regions; approx. 200+ artists to tour 50+ countries in the world; 93 local professionals to visit professional conferences and events in delegations; and also hosting dedicated workshops and a mentor & art camp in partnership with Artisjus & MANK Nonprofit Kft. to help authors, performers and the background industry on their path of succeeding, and also to connect them with internationally acclaimed professionals in various sectors of the music industry. While 2018 was the first year, where the international royalty incomes (excluding the revenues coming about publishing, outside the reach of Artisjus) has been reflected in the strategy through opening up more specificly to the US and Asian market to increase their sharehold – supporting the global increase of the incomes, as increasing the royalty incomes globally is still one of the main goals for the office -, HOTS gave the possibility this year for 21 Hungarian acts to present their songs in 27 professional events in 18 countries.
