Marek Hojda – Director of Music Export Poland and long-time activist (including Deputy President of Authors Society ZAiKS, member of the Executive Committee of the Music Author’s Council CIAM, Chairman of the NGO’s Council in Ministry of Culture and owner his own record label ); jazz, pop and rock music composer, arranger, vocalist and bands’ member. With his extensive background in the music industry both as an artist and businessman, Marek took the role in Music Export Poland office to grow the recognition and potential of Polish music abroad. Marek was born in Krakow and graduated of the Jazz Faculty at the University of Music in Katowice in vocal class, arrangements and compositions. His songs were performed at Polish most famous song festival in Opole in the 90-ties. Throughout his career Marek cooperates with Polish Radio and TV. He is also recognized by his extensive works for children, presenting at famous TVP shows, composing songs and cooperating with artists like Aida (Armenian artist, platinum record, 2006) Marek runs his own Homar Music recording studio. In the songwriters’ world, Marek is also recognized as active organiser of largest song writing camps in Central and Easter Europe. Passionate marathon runner and mountaineer and movie lover
