Martina Výrková studied Political Science and European Studies at Palacký University in Olomouc (Czech Republic), having also completed scholarships at the State University of New York (USA) and Universidad Complutense Madrid (Spain).
Over time she turned her passions – intercultural communication, traveling and music – into work career. Within International Study Programs, Martina has organized tailor-made academic tours for (E)MBA students to Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries, whose cultures she finds deeply interesting.
For the past ten years, Martina has been active in music management. Between 2013-2017 she was the chief production manager Collegium 1704 & Collegium Vocale 1704 (baroque orchestra and choir) and had full responsibility for cast and production agenda.
Since 2018 she has been involved in several interesting projects, e.g. four-day Leoš Janáček music marathon in Ostrava, Brno Music Marathon, Ostrava New Music festival and New Opera Days Ostrava.
In 20219 Martina founded a classical music agency Makropulos Music representing both renowned and highly talented young Czech musicians and ensembles (violinist Josef Špaček, contralto Bella Adamova, pianists Marek Kozák and Jakub Sládek, cellists Tomáš Jamník and Vilém Vlček, female conductor Alena Hron, piano Trio Incendio and Dvořák Trio, Škampa Quartet, Kukal Quartet and chamber choir Martinů Voices).
