Director of Program at Foundation Novi Sad-European Capital of Culture & UNESCO Media arts Focal Point, Project Lead – City of Novi Sad.

As a program director for Novi Sad European Capital of Culture, she has developed and managed withher team an entire program of around 2000 program activities. She has been overseeing program and budget planning, workflow organization and heads communication and negotiation with officials, art institutions, relevant international expert bodies, partners and artists. She is also President of the group of experts founded by the City of Novi Sad in charge of creating an action plan for the development and implementation of cultural strategy of the city.

Main point for UNESCO Creative City-Media Arts. Wrote the application and in charge of project planning, execution and international collaborations and partnerships. Initiated and managed the application for UCLG (United Cities and Local Governments)-Mexico City 2024, Global Culture Award.

The Jury recognized Novi Sad as a Special Mention, with the project “Cultural Policy Regeneration of Urban Heritage through the Culture of Dialogue”

As a principal project manager and art consultant for Bait Muzna Gallery in Muscat-Oman, from 2014 until 2018, she successfully managed and secured the artwork packages for luxury hotel brands including W, Anantara, Sundus Rotana, Radisson, Sheraton, Shaza, Hilton. Curated Art Bahrein and exhibitions for the gallery.

Sara holds a BA degree in Arabic Language and Literature from University of Belgrade where she was proclaimed the best student of generation (1 out of 2000). Her MA degree is in Cultural Policy and Management – University of Belgrade and Lyon 2 University France chaired by UNESCO
