Eszter Décsy is a manager and CEO-founder of the Budapest based NOW Books & Music, a hybrid label-management collective. With publishing and cultural studies as a background, after a few years abroad, she moved back to Hungary in 2012, founded NOWmagazin.hu, an online music and culture platform, and dug deep into the underground music and contemporary literary scene. Along these lines NOW Books & Music was born in 2015, grew fast, published several books and homes bands like The Royal Freak Out, Grizzly, SZ4P or the newborn Woodstock Barbie. Eszter also worked on plenty of literary, art, music events and festivals, hosted a radio show for a while and now working on a project for co-operation of small music venues in the Eastern European and Balkan region. She’s also a big fan of travelling and fell in love with the Balkans.
