Keni Nije Mrtav is a Serbian musical group from Kruševac . The genre is classified into punk rock , pop punk and alternative rock .
The group was founded in 2017 by guitarist and frontman Mateja Đokić, bassist Matija Pešić and drummer Sava Tomić. The Kenyans drew attention to themselves at various gigs and music festivals throughout Serbia and the region, including concerts on Zidić , Belgrade Beer Festival, Nishville and Exit . Their song “Samodisciplina” was in the final of the competition for the Milan Mladenović Award in 2021.The band is often described as “one of the most concertally active bands in the region.”
The group’s debut album, Hajde da plesemo , was released in November 2021 on Mascom Records . The release of the album was preceded by the singles Venecijaneri , Samodisciplina and Vetar.
