La Fazani

La Fazani is the performative alter-ego of Arbër Salihu, a versatile composer, singer-songwriter, and producer from Prishtina, Kosovo. Seamlessly blending hip-hop, indie, and Albanian folk, his music paints vivid narratives of life in Kosovo and the Balkans. Since debuting as La Fazani in 2022, he has made a strong impact with singles like Hajde me shuplakë, which peaked at number 2 on the Top Awards Albanian charts. His debut album, Specie Turshi, dropped in March 2024, and his live performances have captivated audiences at major festivals across the region. In October 2023, he won the inaugural “Festivali i Këngës në RTK” (Kosovo Song Festival) with his satirical song Oj Kosovë, solidifying his place as one of the leading figures in the Kosovar music scene.
Active since 2013, Arbër has collaborated with various prominent local acts and is one-half of the duo Oborri, with whom he released one album (2017) and four music videos. An award-winning composer, he has crafted scores for film, theatre, and children’s music (Planeti i Fëmijëve) , with his classical work featured in the “Anthology of Young Kosovar Composers” and winning a prize at the prestigious Chopin Fest.
