MYSTICALLY is two voices, two prints for one and the same vibration… The essence of their music : female vocal harmonies serving a Reggae Roots with Afro-Caribbean sounds mixed with Soul and World influences. It’s also the story of two female singers, choristers. At the time of their meeting, who decide in 2007 to create their own group. The alchemy takes right away…. and has been going on for almost 15 years !Complementary on all levels, Marie-Lou writes and composes the songs, Adeline polishes the backing vocals. MYSTICALLY is dedicated to producing mixed compositions drawing from its Congolese and Caribbean roots. The texts are conscious, sometimes intimate, and deal with subjects as strong as they are universal : faith and spirituality, the need for unity between peoples, maternal love, the aberrations and inequalities of the system, the transcendental power of music, Mother Earth Africa and its heritage…The duo builds stone after stone the edifice that seals their unique musical complicity. Five years after their first album Ladie’s Words, the duo releases in 2020 Iration, a 2nd opus skillfully produced and arranged which shows once again the extent of the multiple facets of this atypical formation which takes another dimension in live. Because MYSTICALLY is also a strong stage experience, an infectious energy carried by musicians (Tom Moretti, Victor Pierrel, John Sigwalt, Mathis Bouveret-Akengin and Alex Fauconnet) with afro-jazz influences who each bring a touch of authenticity and warmth, making each concert a moment of intense sharing… definitely soul reggae!
