Since forming in 2017 in a shed in their hometown, Omar Dahl has crafted a unique blend of East and West. The band channels this cross-cultural spirit, combining electronic grooves with traditional instruments like violin, saxophone, and ney.
Drawing influences from artists such as Kerala Dust and Altin Gün, Omar Dahl’s music fuses downtempo house with Eastern melodies, creating a sound equally at home in hazy clubs or sunlit festivals. Their global travels, from Saudi Arabia to Mexico, have enriched this fusion, blending sultry rhythms with driving beats.
In 2025 they released Traum, their 3th EP and first collaboration with Berlin-based label Laut & Luise. Shaped by percussion and organic rhythms, the EP explores the liminal space between consciousness and dreams
