Sioto Jazz are a Macedonian pop rock indie-jazz group from Bitola formed in 2022 as a spiritual successor of several local groups. Their influences come from a wide range of artists, from the wildest years of Herbie Hancock and Nick Cave through Smashing Pumpkins and The National to Men I Trust.
In September 2023, he released his first studio album, The True State of All Things, consisting of 10 tracks, as well as intro and outro tracks.
The themes that run through the songs of their first album are drawn from the immediate environment: the disappearance of small towns, the loss of their own identity of those who chose to stay in their hometowns, and the way an individual can deal with it all.
The irony of the loss of identity is reinforced by the use of the English language in the songs, which the intended audience of the music undoubtably understands.
