SMUT is a hardcore band from Skopje, Macedonia, dating since 1996. They elaborate everyday life themes, expand subjects of happiness and sorrow, earning respect, betrayal, disappointment, the importance of family and friends in life; as well as variety of other themes that substantiate the existence of an individual. With the sound of unfaltering and mighty guitar and the thunderous sound of the drum, as well as the perfectly interweaved sound of the bass that associates with the other two instruments; they altogether create a melody that arises individual’s emotions. Within the essence of this instrumental story, the vocal makes the finish with its individual and specific ability to switch from grind, to the ability of performance of the screaming parts; which makes the transformation an entity of fully achieved composition. SMUT received the recognition for their success with having the honor of performing with bends like Sick of It All, Biohazard, Integrity, Hatebreed,Madball, Ignite, Defdumb, Born from Pain, Death Before Dishonour and many others.Â
