Since their debut album “Horizons”, a marvelous blend of shoegaze, post-rock, noise, and dream pop, Zagreb-based Tús Nua (Jordi Ilić and Jelena Božić) has been one of the most talked-about bands on the Croatian and regional alternative scene. The duo’s debut received praise from critics and audience, found its way to numerous Best Albums Of 2017 lists in their home country, and established the band as one of the most attractive live acts in the region.
Following a fully packed album promotion in one of Zagreb’s most popular venues, their track “Fight!” was selected as Song Of The Day by KEXP, making them one of the few Croatian acts with that accomplishment. Less than 12 months after releasing their first LP, the band rocked the stage of the INmusic festival and was praised as one of the best acts that year. Their music even impressed the post-rock giants God Is An Astronaut, who chose them as the supporting act for their 2018 concert in Ljubljana’s Kino Šiška.
Tús Nua are no beginners when it comes to hitting the road and playing international venues. Besides Slovenia and Serbia, the band has played in Austria, Germany, Poland, Hungary, and the Netherlands, attracting dedicated fans after every gig, especially following their performances at MENT and Eurosonic. Their impressive run of concerts on big stages continued at WrongFest, where they played with Rolo Tomassi and, once again, God Is An Astronaut.
In 2019, the band returned to the studio to work on their sophomore album “Nothing Personal”, which was released on October 29th, 2021.
