Danaja’s work focuses on securing fair payment for creators and building connections between local communities and larger networks.
Currently, serving as Program Curator and Speaker Manager at the MostWanted:Music conference in Berlin, where she is also developing an exchange program between Berlin and local music markets in this years’ edition focused on Slovenia, Croatia, and North Macedonia.
Additionally, she manages global partnerships for Sub_Bar, an initiative promoting inclusivity in music production and education—particularly for the deaf and hard of hearing—by redefining how people connect with sound through immersive performances centered on bodily sensations and the profound beauty of vibration.
She is also a co-founder of CounterCult, an online agency focused on fair payment and localized support for creators.
Looking ahead, she is interested in impact investing to support grassroots projects, filming a documentary, and establishing a creative residency by the sea.
