Miran has been active on the independent music scene in different roles for more than two decades, which gives him broad insight and understandings of the music habitat.
In 2004 he founded the record label Moonlee Records, one of the most important labels in ex-Yugoslavia region (Repetitor, KOIKOI, Bernays Propaganda, ŽEN, Seine, Moveknowledgement…), which later expanded into Moonlee Booking agency.
Miran is also the conference manager of MENT Ljubljana – one of the leading showcase festivals and music conferences in Central and Eastern Europe. He is also board member of RUNDA – Regional Association of Independent Discographers Balkans.
In the last few years he participated as speaker at various music conferences like Eurosonic Noorderslag, AIM London, Tallinn Music Week, Sharpe Bratislava, BUSH Budapest, etc.
