I’ve been a music addict for as long as I can remember. Followed music classes from age of 9, but never made it as an artist, so I started writing reviews on gigs and interviewing artists for damusic.be. Followed a course on business event management and was pretty sure after that what I wanted. Joined Kokopelli world music festival in 2010 to put study into practice, where I first worked on communications, was responsible for secretary and focused on global coördination and visitor experience. I worked on several Interreg projects the last 10 years. Volunteered on quiet some festivals in Belgium and visited much more throughout Europe.
Visiting Womex in 2017 made me realize how good and energetic I feel in music industry. it’s like my natural habitat. So I had to grab the bull by the horns and started after two years thoroughly thinking my own small business.
I am good in production work for festivals, booking agencies, love networking, writing and managing (european) projects.
I feel at ease while presenting or solving problems.
My moto is you can’t milk a cow with your hands in your pants.
