Valerija Bebek has 20 years of experience in the media and music industry. She gained her expertise through working for Croatia’s largest media companies, often participating in the launch of those outlets or their projects. Additionally, she has gained extensive experience in the music sector as a freelance PR consultant, a role she fully dedicated herself in last few yeasrs.
Since 2023, she has been part of the PR team at Pozitivan ritam, focusing on promoting festivals & music events at Martinska, Šibenik, Croatia (Sea Sound Festival, Martinska Punk Festival, Preach the Rič Festival to name a few) as well as promoting the lively clubbing scene at the oldest club in Zagreb – DVA OSAM.
Pozitivan ritam, as is known, also has a wide range of activities: publishing (PDV records), independent music and cultural events, etc.
Her professional career began in 2004 as a journalist and producer at RTL Televizija, joining the network shortly after it’s kickoff. She later moved to Nova TV, becoming part of the production team that launched the in-house production department for major entertainment formats. In 2010, she transitioned to the media outlet 24sata, contributing to the start of the weekly magazine 24 Express.
At the same time, she collaborated with local musicians as an independent PR professional. She combined her knowledge of media with her love for music by promoting musical projects via various channels: traditional media, creating music videos or poromotion on showcase festivals. Starting in 2015, she wrote for Telegram at the launch of the media house. Her journalistic career continued at Hanza Media, where she participated in the establishment of the digital newsroom 100posto and later worked for the editorial team of Gloria magazine.
