The concept of the pop venue as an experimental community space gives small music venues the opportunity to reinvent themselves based on trusted core values.
The initiators of this European cooperation aim to develop alternative scenarios for the rapid changes that small pop venues are facing. Central to the project are the strategies that small venues apply in collaborating with the diverse communities in their local contexts.
Through these collaborations new partnerships are made, new and more diverse audiences are reached, while simultaneously contributing to urban cohesion in their ecosystems.
