FROM RIGHTS TO MONEY

The challenge of excercising the collective rights

Why are Macedonian performers and record labels unable to exercise their rights? What is behind the lack of a license for the collective rights organization? What has been the impact of these losses on artists and producers thus far? How can a regular system be established that guarantees protection and support? Are we a unique example in Europe, where licenses are not issued and support for the realization of these rights is lacking? These questions demand reflection and active discussion regarding the future of our music scene.
